Monday Morning Thoughts

  • Woke up today feeling incredible. Although I have tons of stuff to get finished at work before “going on Holiday”, knowing that I will have 18 days off after Thursday at 5pm just gives me a boost of energy that even a nice Monster Java can’t compete with.
  • Tori was great in the Christmas play. She is a princess and a ballerina and loves the stage, no doubt.
  • Christine and I are learning from past mistakes and really trying to live the words, “I won’t ever do that again!”
  • Personally, I have let go of a lot of emotional baggage I associated with a few people. Hopefully, reconciliation can begin to occur between the more damaged relationships. When you feel that you are stuck, you sometimes panic and grab on to any and everything to get out. Sometimes that leaves a wake of people who feel alienated, although that wasn’t your intention. Then it becomes a cycle of placing blame on each other. It’s not easy to reconcile that at times. But you have to. You have no choice.
  • Merry Christmas: Whatever you do, please try to do something for someone in need this Christmas. There are countless organizations that sponsor benefits for those with less. Churches sometimes adopt families that you can help out by buying a thoughtful gift or two. The soup kitchens are loaded and the economy is looking grim for a lot of families in a season that should be filled with joy. What you do, does make a difference.
